For all editing projects I offer a free, no-obligation 1000-word sample edit for first-time clients, to make sure we’ll work well together. When you’re ready to jump in with editing, I usually like to have a virtual meeting to start things off on the right page, but that’s up to you. If email is your thing, we can go that way, too.
In our initial conversation we’ll start to figure out your editing or writing needs and discuss the scope of your project. After our chat I’ll work up a quote then, once we’re agreed, we’ll sort out the necessary administrative steps (contract, timelines, payment, etc.). Then I get down to work.
Your word-related worries are over.
For editing projects I charge by the word. A manuscript critique is charged by the hour. Fees for Writing projects are determined on an individual basis.
